Zoe-perry

Perry was born in Chicago to the actors Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Perry. The character Jackie Harris was played by her mom in both of the two episodes she appeared on Roseanne. Perry was forbidden to start acting by her parents until she reached adulthood, as they feared the anxiety it could create. Perry shy and shy for acting in high school, started to act at Northwestern University because she wanted to meet new people. Perry had the opportunity to secure small TV roles in Law & Order: Criminal Intent following her graduation. The feeling of homelessness, however, brought her back to California again where she began to work in the stage. In 2013 she performed in The Other Place on Broadway with her mother. The show was directed by Eugene O'Neill. Pulitzer Prize winner Anna Christie, along with Kevin McKidd. This was staged in the West Los Angeles' Odyssey Theatre Ensemble. Perry played a part in nine episodes of ABC's thriller The Family during 2016. In 2017, she played an recurring role in her own ABC political thriller Scandal starring her father. That same year she was cast as a young character of Mary Cooper (Sheldon Cooper's mother) in Young Sheldon, a spin-off of the CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory again as a teen character of her mom's character. The role was selected via auditions having a strong relationship with the show.
