Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise has been a author, performer and actress in the US for more than forty years. Her most well-known role is for her role as Ginger Grant (in the 60s television show Gilligan's Island). The musical Bettle performed in Two's Company was her first stage performance in the 1950s. After that, she performed in several Broadway shows before becoming the most famous on stage together with Li'l Abner, in the year 1957. She released her album It's Too Late for Tina in the following year. Louise was first seen in Hollywood in God's Little Acre which was a dramatic that was released in the year 1958. She played Griselda who was a character from the film. At the time, she began her studies at Actors Studio in New York and formed a connection to Lee Strasberg as his student. Her next memorable role came through in 1964 when she was signed by CBS to play Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise Balfour managed to juggle between Broadway and Hollywood portraying somber character as opposed her perceived image as a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 as Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. In recent times, she also became a well-known director for popular TV shows such as Supernatural as well as The 100. Her family relocated out of Essex to Toronto in the year she was born, and there she resided for her childhood and teenage years. After being chosen for the role as Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997, and was there ever since.
