April Bowlby
April Bowlby (born April Bowlby) is an American model, actress and performer. She's played Kandi on the CBS comedy Two and a Half Men, Stacy Barrett in Drop Dead Diva as well as Rita Farr in Titans and Doom Patrol. April Michelle Bowlby (born April Michelle Bowlby) is an American actress best known for portraying Stacy Barrett in Drop Dead Diva and Kandi the sitcom on TV Two and a Half Men. The modeling industry was her first profession before she moved into films and TV shows. For CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, her first TV appearance was in an episode with a background character. Soon, she landed the part of Kandi on Two and a Half Men. Bowlby was recognized internationally for the Stacy Barrett role in Drop Dead Diva. Bowlby played the role of Rita Farr/Elastigirl in the American online series Titans. She will reprise her role in the spin-off to the Doom Patrol television series. Bowlby is also well-known by her TV appearances in Sands of Oblivion (a TV film) as well as The Wrong Daughter. Following her appearance as a character in The Slammin Salmon (which was her first film), and From Prada, to Nada she made her first appearance in the big screen with All Roads Lead Home. She attended East Union High School. Following her studies in ballet and French in Moorpark College, Bowlby decided to pursue an acting profession. She took Drama classes with Ivana Chobbuck and landed the lead role in the TV series (Kandi from Two and a Half Men) just a few months after her Hollywood first audition. Bowlby has been on numerous TV shows, like CSI with the role of Kaitlin Rackish in 2004 CSI: NY as Jenny Lee in 2005 Freddie as Sydney in 2005 Stacked as Jasmine in 2005, and How I Met Your Mother in the role of Meg in 2007. Bowlby's most recent appearance was Natasha, a 12-year-old girl that lost her mother due to an automobile accident. Bowlby will be in the upcoming 2008 comedy movie The Slammin Salmon as Mia. Los Angeles is her home. Her natural hair is red with blue-green eyes. She's a single mother of no children.
