Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco, an American-Canadian singer and songwriter. More than 20 albums were released by her. DiFranco has released over 20 albums. Ani DiFranco is frequently regarded as a feminist icon, and Grammy-winning performer, is regarded as to be the first creator of DIY music. It was one of the first artists to establish her own label in 1990. DiFranco was born in Buffalo New York on September 23rd, 1970. She was she was the daughter of Elizabeth (Ross) and Dante Americo DiFranco and Dante Americo DiFranco, who made acquaintance while studying at in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her father was Italian descent and her mother was born in Montreal. Ani DiFranco composed and sang 32 Flavors. The song is from her 1995 album Not a Pretty Girl, which was her sixth studio album. The song's version is featured on the film Canadian romantic movie Better Than Chocolate. DiFranco apologized in 2013 after it was announced that she would be hosting a three day workshop at an Louisiana slave plantation. The event was cancelled however, many (including the news media) didn't think it was a sign of regret. DiFranco issued another apology several days later. She is known for her Little Folksinger style, but she's collaborated with many music genres, from Pete Seeger to Chuck D. Her home is New Orleans. Ani diFranco, and Kristen Ford are together. By 14 she was writing her own songs. She performed them at coffee shops and bars throughout her teenage years. DiFranco, who graduated at the age of sixteen from Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts High School began to attend classes at Buffalo State College. The new baritone she got was custom-built by Alvarez, made by Chrys Johnston who at that time worked as the Alvarez Artist Rep. It comes with the System 600 amp and is entirely made of solid woods, including the body with a mahogany top and cedar sides featuring an ebony fretboard. The owner lives in New Orleans, with her family: husband and two kids. Lefty is their dog friend who wanders around when she speaks. DiFranco admits she is experiencing mixed emotions about her previous career that spans over three decades. Ani DiFranco is a punk/folk musician and songwriter who was just 25 at the time she dropped her 7th album Not A Pretty Girl and had even greater success with the music industry with Dilate. Brandy (You're an A-Fair Girl) is a song released in 1972 written by American pop rock band Looking Glass from their debut album Looking Glass.
