Hayley orrantia is a native of the United States. She's primarily an actress, but also a songwriter and singer. People are familiar with her because of her character in the role of Erica Goldberg on the popular comedy television series "The Goldbergs.' While she is a performer, her primary passion is music. According to her, music has always been her first passion. When she was 12, she had taken the music seriously enough that she began professional training. At the age of 13 when she began writing herself songs. The first album she released as a cover was released 14 years after. From then on, she has not ever looked back. Orrantia has Hispanic heritage, yet was born in the USA. She's proud of her fact that she has Hispanic origins, despite in English only, and did not live in Mexico. She endeavours to keep it alive by learning to speak Spanish as well as writing songs using the Spanish language. The most famous of these songs is 'Hasta Verte,' which she recorded in Spanish. Orrantia was picked to perform for the first season during the summer of 2011. Orrantia was selected as a result of a YouTube video that she submitted and got four "yes" no votes by jury during the live audition phase held in Seattle, Washington. She was originally a solo performer, but after "Hollywood Week", three other female performers were added to a group to continue the auditions. They were eliminated in the fifth week during the live program.
